In Ritual, the familiar objects of daily life are transformed into something almost ceremonial. A vessel, cup and elongated sculptural forms emerge from a richly worked field of light and shadow, their shapes hovering somewhere between still life, figure and ancient artefact.

Warm ochres, burnt orange and earthen browns glow against chalky whites and deep charcoal, while the fragmented, architectural brushwork gives the composition a sense of history, as though these objects have been assembled, used and returned to over time. The ordinary becomes symbolic; a simple act becomes a ritual.

Created for the ABA Spring 2026 Collection, Ritual celebrates the beauty of repetition and the quiet significance of the things we choose to surround ourselves with, a reminder that meaning is often created through the small acts we return to every day.
