In Bush Walk, the landscape is experienced rather than described. Sweeping layers of deep forest green, charcoal and softened grey move across the circular canvas, interrupted by flashes of warm earth and crisp white, glimpses of light, track and open space emerging through dense bush.
The round format gives the work an immersive quality, almost like looking through a window into the landscape. Loose, expressive brushwork captures the shifting light, movement and beautiful unpredictability of being amongst the trees, without defining any one particular place.
Created for the ABA Spring 2026 Collection, Bush Walk is earthy, atmospheric and distinctly contemporary, a celebration of getting lost in the landscape and finding your way through.
