In The Jetsons, bold geometric forms and interconnected lines create a playful vision of retro-futurism. Blocks of cool blue-grey, chocolate brown, cream and black appear to float within a field of negative space, connected by fine linear pathways that give the composition the feeling of an imagined city, machine or futuristic floor plan.

The title nods to the optimistic future imagined by mid-century design, a world of space-age architecture, streamlined living and wonderfully improbable technology. Yet the work remains deliberately abstract, allowing the viewer to find their own structures, rooms, pathways and connections within it.
