In Dusty Sea Landscape, sea and sky dissolve into one another across a softened, almost infinite horizon. Layers of misted grey, stone and warm taupe create an atmospheric stillness, interrupted only by a dark sweep of distant land and the faintest suggestion of movement across the water.

Stripped of unnecessary detail, the work captures the feeling of standing at the edge of a quiet coastline when distance becomes hazy and the boundaries between water, land and sky begin to disappear. Its restrained palette gives the piece a meditative quality,  spacious, grounding and deliberately understated.
