In Pink Storm Landscape, a quiet horizon sits beneath an expansive, shifting sky of blush, chalk white and soft storm grey. Layers of translucent colour, visible brushwork and delicate drips create the feeling of weather moving across an open landscape, somewhere between an approaching storm and the stillness that follows.

The work is intentionally restrained. A dark, distant horizon anchors the softness above it, while subtle changes in tone allow the landscape to emerge almost imperceptibly from the abstract surface. There is both calm and tension here, that beautiful moment when the atmosphere changes, the light softens and the world seems to become completely still.
